With this exhibition, Amnesty International and Magnum Photos jointly look back on 60 years of commitment to human rights. They are showing a selection of images that testify to the diversity of the struggles carried out by the organization. After all, photographic work draws its power from the awareness it raises.
Thus, it gathers portraits of personalities of recent history and the present, from Martin Luther King to Greta Thunberg, as well as of great moments that have marked European and world history, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the rallies after the attacks on Charlie Hebdo or the protests in Hong Kong.
But Echternach has more than just Cultural Highlights. A lot of Restaurants, the lake for a little walk and on Sundays most of the shops are open.
