Rosa Lëtzebuerg was invited to an official meeting with the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Mr. Casey K. Mace on the 17th of May in light of the IDAHOBIT 2021 to evaluate to current state of the LGBTIQ+ community in Luxembourg. Many topics such as the LTGBIQ-free zones, hate speech and lack of safe spaces (especially due to the massive impact that the Covid19-pandemic has had on the local community) have been discussed. The U.S.A. ambassey wants to get more involved with local LGBTIQ+ matters and a closer collaboration is envisioned with Rose Lëtzebuerg. Other ambasseys will also be included in the upcoming discussions.
“Great meeting w/ @RosaLetzebuerg & @LuxembourgPride on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
